The Enaex Mining Technical Solutions team will begin by understanding the excavation methods used by your operation.
Our engineers can then work with your site representatives on different loading and timing scenarios to best shape the muckpile to the equipment digging the blast. If the need is ore separation, the blast can be designed to move the ore in a different direction than the waste. Many times, muckpile shaping has to do with cast blasts and where the dragline will be entering the pit; or if there is an in-pit ramp, etc. There are methods that can move the muckpile during the blast in order to reduce re-handling material to build in-pit ramps. The blast may need to be choked in some areas and thrown in others. Our team has ample experience in modifying loading and timing plans to muck the rock to where you need it.
