The Daveytronic® SP Electronic Detonator Blasting System consists of a set of three rugged units: a hand-held Remote Blaster and Programming Unit work together with a compact Blast Driver to initiate up to 1,500 DaveyTronic® SP electronic detonators in Single Blast Mode. Multiple Blast Drivers can be connected to initiate up to 4,500 DaveyTronic® SP electronic detonators in Synchroblast™ Mode. USB, RS232, and Ethernet smart interfaces facilitate the communication with PC applications and data transfer software such as D2D (blast design software) and Datalogger (data transfer software). Daveytronic® SP Electronic Detonator Blasting System features a secure encoded proprietary communication protocol for both firing line control and wireless data transmission. The integrated modems provide world class performance with reliability specifically developed for the mining industry. The field-proven Daveytronic® SP line of electronic detonators offer the industry an unparalleled level of safety with two-capacitors, coded two-way communication, and the exclusive Enaex smart shunt.
With the Daveytronic® SP Electronic Detonator Blasting System, security is reinforced with the patented RFID technology and the unique ID tracking number of each detonator. Blast Drivers and Remote Blasters are coupled before blasting to ensure immunity to other RF devices and unintended initiation. The design includes an exclusive “EMP proof” feature consisting of a firing line galvanic insulation eliminating the risk of electrical shock.
With Multi-Blast Mode, the Daveytronic® SP Remote Blaster controls a network of Blast Drivers (up to 8) located at different areas of the mine, firing several blasts simultaneously from a central location.
